We partner with supermarkets and food manufacturers to collect their extra produce, meat, dairy and bread to feed people, not landfill.
We partner with over 50 frontline community groups who support asylum seekers, young parents, those sleeping rough, mental health agencies, women and children experiencing domestic violence, school hubs and many more, to provide free food to those who need it most.
Volunteers gain confidence cooking from scratch while preparing zero waste meals in our Conscious Kitchen. In 2023, Fair Food’s team of 2,095 volunteers rescued and shared enough fresh food for 1,711,509 meals. By keeping this nutritious food from going to landfill, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1587 tonnes a year while creating community resilience to adapt to climate change.
For every $10 donated we can share enough food for a week’s worth of meals to nourish someone in need.
